This is a weekly discussion for writing group subscribers. Read about the difference between the writing group and a regular paid subscription here.

You can join us or upgrade your subscription here. Be sure to select Writing Group.

Quick reminder that this Sunday, April 7 at 10am-1pm PT / 1pm-4pm ET I’m running my class, Memoir & Consent. In this three-hour seminar, we will cover ethical and personal questions related to writing about family, loved ones, and real people, as well as craft strategies for how to protect ourselves and others. The session will include an open Q&A so you can get specific questions about your projects answered.

What are your favorite methods for creative recovery? How do you reconnect with yourself and your writing, or just recoup after periods of hustle?

If you need extra help with creative recovery, organizing essay ideas, a budding book project, or general mentoring, I have a few spots left in my Care for Writers program this spring. I’ll be your literary mom for one month, which includes 1-1 meetings with me weekly, as well as personalized writing prompts, reading recommendations, and other resources.

(If you don’t see a time that works for you when selecting your first meeting, message me.)

If you’re interested in developmental editing or manuscript consultations, fill out this inquiry form. I have a limited number of spots available for spring and summer.
