There has been A LOT of discussion about desire and sex and love and other forms of wanting lately. Later this week, I’ll share some thoughts on what I think this means for women’s writing, especially memoir, and a syllabus on this topic for Writing Club subscribers (and a writing prompt!).
But for our discussion this week: How do you write through or about desire in your own work? On a craft level, how do you write desire—such as what characters want?
