FYI to all: some folks who are already paid subscribers let me know that when they try to upgrade to the Madwoman tier, they're not given the option to enter a sliding scale rate, even though I've enabled that option. Substack's pricing features are annoyingly limited and this seems to be a glitch in how upgrades work on phones and in the app, but I'm working on a fix for this!
For now, if you're already a paid subscriber, I suggest going to the desktop site (link below), and clicking "upgrade to founding" in the upper right-hand corner if you see it.
