Did you take a few year vacation inside my head or home? Because I swear it's like reading my thoughts, with more poetic justice. I HAD to subscribe fr after this. Well done and I am SO excited for your book. Thank you for all this labor...it truly helped me feel like less of a monster...for a few minutes.

I quoted you from this essay in my recent one (which is still not nearly as polished as it could be). I don't want to self promo on your page, but happy to share if you'd like to read it.

It is gravely in need of an editor and I have already rewritten a huge chunk of it...but I had to just get it up and out because I can noodle forever and I had been on this thing for months. You lit a fire under me to finish so thank you!

Coming to this after your year in review newsletter. As the tears well and my toddler jumps all over me like a jungle gym, I so appreciate your words that speak to exactly the thing I feel wrestling its way through my body.

So many parts resonate, but this line got me the most:

“But how could I stop everyone from wanting me all the time?”

I’ve been mulling over this concept for my newsletter lately and what that’s bringing up for me and how it works into this thing I, as you said, can’t not do.
