Well, friends, the world is falling apart, male supremacy and fascism are on the rise globally, and… it’s gift guide season?? I have mixed feelings about gift guides for obvious, unoriginal reasons. My knee-jerk response is to be annoyed with them, but then I look at those made by my favorite authors and always find them creative, non-consumerist alternatives to the holiday ads I am being served everywhere else I look.
