In a recent piece for The New York Times, Marie Solis argues that the ugh men vibes of the moment are a sort of female counterpart to the manosphere’s extensive and clearly powerful narrative of male grievance. These types of disaffection, of course, are not mirror images of each other, as Solis notes. But many are claiming that they are, depicting the complicated relations between men and women today as a “war.”
But is anyone taking women’s disaffection all that seriously?
